Immersive training is the use of virtual reality (VR) simulations to improve skills, knowledge, and attitudes. Immersive training shows great promise for overall impact on statistics related to family and professional caregivers. As compared to face-to-face or online learning, training that utilizes VR has significantly higher
impact on assuaging the impact of professional and family caregiver burnout and stress, and on developing emotional intelligence and empathy.
