Head of Engineering

      As a Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for ensuring that our company makes the right strategic moves to achieve our long-term business and impact objectives. You will own the technical roadmap and shape our technology stack, architecture, and methodologies in alignment with our product vision. 

      Our ideal candidate has a proven ability to expertly lead and expand an engineering team to develop a scalable platform that meets the existing and anticipated needs of our growing customer base within the healthcare industry.

      Your Key Responsibilities

      • Provide visionary leadership and technical guidance to establish and expand the engineering team, refining processes, and bolstering capabilities.
      • Foster collaboration with the executive team, aligning engineering initiatives harmoniously with the company's overarching business strategy and roadmaps.
      • Spearhead the conception, development, rigorous testing, and seamless deployment of technical solutions, with unwavering commitment to stringent benchmarks for quality, scalability, and performance.
      • Shape the technological foundation, architectural frameworks, and development methodologies that perfectly align with our product vision and enduring objectives.
      • Forge close-knit partnerships with cross-functional units, including product management and research, to materialize business concepts into tangible, market-ready products.
      • Champion technical advocacy and act as the ambassador of the company's technical vision when engaging with partners, investors, and the broader industry.
      • Identify potential technical vulnerabilities and craft proactive strategies for their mitigation, ensuring the steadfast stability, security, and scalability of our product offerings.

      Required Qualifications

      • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
      • Proven experience of working with startups as an engineering leader.
      • Track record of successfully developing and deploying web, mobile products, from concept to production.
      • Excellent communication and cross-collaboration skills.
      • Demonstrated leader with experience in building a team.
      • Experience with agile development methodologies and project management practices.
      • Comfortable working with remote and offshore engineering teams.
      • Familiar with engineering in VR, machine learning, and related technologies.
      • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic scale-up environment.
      • A genuine passion for shaping the future of healthcare and making the world a better place.

      Job Compensation & Benefits

      • $150k-$190k/year, commensurate with previous experience.
